I have also used multi colour squares, block colour squares random to make this blanket look more authentic to original granny blankets.

I recently made sales to a customer which turned out to be ladies working for the Stratford Theatre who took my blankets and with great imagination made into a costume for the Christmas Pantomine I have added a picture below
